VIKTRE is all about the athlete; a private social network for athletes to connect and collaborate; a public network for athletes to engage with fans and followers; and a 24/7 streaming page filled with compelling content about the world of the athlete, both in and outside the world of sport.


Al Steele is the founder and CEO of VIKTRE. He has 25 years of experience building companies in the financial services, sport, and entertainment industries. Prior to founding VIKTRE, Steele founded and led Bellatore Financial Inc., a California based asset management company, before selling his interests in 2013. Previously he was the president of Loring Ward and Pavilion Asset Management, and was the CEO of the SA Funds Investment Trust. From 1995 to 2003, Steele was a senior executive at Assante Corporation, a wealth management, sports, and entertainment company. Steele is based in Toronto, ON.


John Kawaja is president of the company with responsibility for sales and marketing. Prior to joining VIKTRE, Kawaja spent 27 years with the adidas group as president of TaylorMade Golf, president of Adidas Golf and leading marketing for adidas in North America. Kawaja is a retired world-class curler. He is an Ontario Jr. Champion, a 7-time Ontario Champion, a 2-time Canadian Champion, and 2-time World Champion. He was named to the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in 1991 and was inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame in 2009. Kawaja is based in Carlsbad, CA.


Don O’Leary, CA, CPA, is the CFO of VIKTRE. O’Leary is a senior financial leader with more than 20 years of experience in the technology, software development, sports, and consumer packaged goods industries. O’Leary has worked for a wide range of companies from high growth start­ups to global fortune 500 companies. O’Leary has held executive finance roles at Iovate Health Sciences, Nike Canada, Vonage Canada, Castek Inc. O’Leary articled at Ernst & Young and is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant. O’Leary is based in Miami, FL.


Tyrone Davids, CA, CPA, MBA, is the COO of VIKTRE. With over 20 years in the accounting, logistics, and enterprise coaching industries, Davids is a proven leader and operator. He is a partner at EDI Enterprise Performance Group, a former executive at Livingston International, and originally an accountant with Price Waterhouse. Davids holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at University of Western Ontario. Davids is based in Toronto, ON.


Rohit Gupta, MBA, is EVP, Corporate Development and one of VIKTRE’s original partners. Gupta is an experienced finance executive with 20 years of business and government experience. Prior to joining VIKTRE, Gupta was a Special Advisor to the Minister of Finance and the Policy Advisor for Economic Affairs in the Office of the Prime Minister. Previously, he was a senior member with the mergers and acquisitions group at Scotiabank. Mr. Gupta holds an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania. Gupta is based in Toronto, ON.


Jason O’Brien is EVP, Business Development for VIKTRE. O’Brien is an experienced entrepreneur and executive with 20 years of business, education, and government experience. Prior to joining VIKTRE, O’Brien was the co­founder and Chief Commerce Officer for Mercury Communications Group, an early stage technology venture that deployed CRM, fan relationship management, and payment processing solutions for talent agencies, professional and amateur sports organizations, professional athletes, and non­profit organizations. After the sale of Mercury to 2Dialog, he took on the role of senior vice president until the sale of the company to Pursuant. From 1999 – 2004, O’Brien was a professor at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, working with foreign companies and executives to adapt to global business environments in marketing and communication. O’Brien is based in New York, NY.


David Longnecker, MBA, is the Chief Technology Officer for VIKTRE. He is also the Vice President of Development and CTO for Tracky and architect and developer of VIKTRE’s technology platform. Experienced in process improvement, systems design and integration, he has worked over 20 years in the real estate, aerospace, public education, and software development and technology sectors. Previously he was the Information Architect for the Wichita Public Schools, in the top 10 largest public school districts in the United States, and owner of several technology consultancy firms covering the south-central United States. Longnecker is based in Wichita, KS.


Mark Stevens is VP, Client Experience (CX) and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of an exceptional VIKTRE experience for all athletes, fans, partners, and organizations. With almost 20 years in the CX discipline, Stevens is an accomplished and award-winning executive in the technology, retail, medical device and BPO industries. His extensive experience in both start up and established global companies includes both domestic and international strategy and operations as well as partnerships and programs that have been launched in the following countries: Canada, US, UK, France, Japan, India, Philippines, Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, Australia/New Zealand, Brazil, Nicaragua, Jamaica, Italy, and South Africa. Recently Stevens served as a consultant and senior leader to companies such as Eargo Hearing based in Mountain View, CA and Rakuten-Kobo based in Toronto, ON. Stevens resides in Toronto, ON.


Recognized as one of the most innovative and successful leaders in sports, media, technology, and product marketing, Roberto Muller has made an indelible impact on these industries. Muller is a sports industry pioneer as founder and CEO of PONY; leader at Reebok as its president during a period of global sports expansion; and founder of PSN, now known as Fox Deportes. He has worked with almost every sports league and association, and partnered closely with many of the world’s elite athletes. Muller is based in New York, NY.


Kevin Dahl is president of VIKTRE Career LLC. Prior to joining VIKTRE, Dahl co-founded NexGoal International LLC, a resource for former athletes providing career transition guidance and job placements. Before launching his business career, Dahl was a professional hockey player in the NHL, IHL, AHL, ECHL, and spent three years with the German Elite Team in Nurnberg Germany. In addition, Dahl won a silver medal with the Canadian Olympic Hockey Team at the 1992 Winter Olympics. Dahl resides in Avon, OH


Tim Heston is the Vice President of Sales at VIKTRE Career LLC. For over 20 years, prior to joining VIKTRE, Heston has been employed by various high growth start-up organizations. As an experienced enterprise sales leader, Heston’s expertise has been to introduce their global brands to the market and provide customers with a customized, budget friendly solution to improve shareholder value. Heston resides in Carmel, IN.
